I don't mind spending extra money for a bullet if it is going to be more reliable. That is why I was asking, if there was no difference then why spend the money. Now, since the gk is known for seperating sometimes, is that triple shok the one that you would all recommend or is there another bullet that you have tried in the 225g 35cal spot that you liked. I will try to get something going with the 250speer as well. I even have some 275g barnes bullets in there. but only so much time to work on this before the hunt. I appreciate everybodys time and input on this. Red

A bullet failure is only a bullet failure if it fails to do what it was intended for. If it is used for something it wasnt meant to used for, then that is a handloaders failure. Likewise, if it isnt properly placed then that is a shooters failure. And bullets have been accused of failing for all those reasons and more.

Dago Red ----- I shoot hundreds of .358 bullets through my STA's. I beleave in the premium bullets on game, on targets anything goes. My preference is North Forks, Nosler Parititions, Barnes X, Swift A-Frame. I use gamekings for fireforming but not animals. Good luck and good shooting.
