It was 4:30am,,I got to the spot I had scouted for a couple days,,lots of action,,tons of prints everywhere,,very confident I would come out of there with a trophy specien.I was already dressed in my loin cloth,,rest of my body grease painted to resemble hay bales,The more I rolled in the hay loft,,the more I looked like one.The AM. milking crew came in at 5:00,,I lie there waiting,,some farm hands grab a few hay bales not 5 feet from me,,but I'm so well camoflaged,,they are'nt the wiser.7:30 am,,The crew is just bringing in the last group to be milked,,Then I spotted it,,the one eyed tom with one ear,,what a prize it would me mounted over my fireplace!!!! They finished milking the last round of cows,,then claened the milk lines,,putting maby 5 gallons of milk in a huge bowl for the cats. They finished up and left the barn,,The tom had swatteed away any cat smaller than him,,and was getting his fill,,,I slowly grasped my trusty pitch fork,,the 7 tine model,,And flung it at my trophy,,the fork was true,,and I bagged the trophy!!!Now every time my dad sits in the family room,,He says damn that thing looks familiar!
