I have an eberlestock that I like for comfort and capacity, but I end up not using the scabbard much if I am thinking I may need to shoot on short notice.

This looks secure, yet quite accessible!

As you said as long as one doesn't have to shoot fast. If I think I need to make a fast shot the rifle is in my hands.

Looks to me about 4 to 5 seconds to the shoulder compared to about 1 to 1.5 or less when the rifle is in the hands.
