The backpack hunting forum seems to have a lot of fitness buffs, so I thought this would be the best place to ask if anyone here has used ICEBUG boots or shoes (see video).

Husband is booked for the Polar Bear Challenge, where he runs a marathon one day and a half marathon the next across the ice fields at Kangerlussuaq Greenland.

His other option is to strap on Yak Trax which he uses here at home, but built in spikes seems like a better option.

Thank you in advance for any information.

I have no experience using screws nor any idea how long they would hold up for but this and similar products may be worth considering: Screwshoe
