Compared to the others out there they certainly are the best of the lot, but I've been making my own for awhile and really have come to prefer my own style of "glop." I use dates, figs, various other dried fruits and nuts to suit my taste at the moment, chocolate whey protein, cinnamon, etc. Yummy!!!!!! banana

The only Clif bars I don't like are the "Banana Nut Bread"
which I cannot make myself eat in warm weather, because eating banana's is like hanging out a welcome sign for mosquitos.

But Clif bare are not the best IMO, The LARABAR are
but like most things "better" they are more expensive.

Their "cherry pie" bar contains three ingredients Dates, almonds, Unsweetened cherries, their other bars are similar.

They are made by Humm Foods in Denver
(www.larabar.com)
