well we put my Titanium Goat stove and tent thru the paces and I am very pleased with the tent--light, very easy to set up and take down and to stuff in it's sack----the stove packs up nice and is light, but needs a couple of mods IMO to make it a breeze---the mods are a screw or pc of "s" shaped metal to keep the door in place--closed that is as it wants to slide off the long rivet that holds it into position--a pretty minor and easy fix----the other fix is to attach the spark arrestor to a pc of pipe instead of trying to slide it into the pipe---all in all though I'm thoroughly pleased with the tent and stove--the owner will do whatever I want for the door, but I need to explain a little better by phone what I want for the spark arrestor, but he will do what I want if possible---great company to deal with also--- www.titaniumgoat.com chris

What stove did you get? I had ordered a 4dogs bannerman that never showed up, and have considered the ti-goat new little ti stove. __________________________________________________ The AR series of rounds, ridding the world of 7mm rem mags, one gun at a time.

Paul--I got the Ti-Goat box stove, because I wanted to be able to sit a tea pot on it vs just a cup of water----it packs down small and flat except for the damper, but the damper is like 3"x3" with the damper handle sticking out 3-4", so it's easy to pack--the stove pipe rolls into a 3"(maybe a bit smaller) x 14" piece and comes with a sack to put it in, as does the stove. You have to screw the stove together, but the screws and a small screwdriver are provided. I put it together and disassembled it before we used it so that I wouldn't have any issues at camp. Rolling the flue pipe into the flue shape isn't the easiest thing on it's initial setup, but after it's first burn it's is much easier(helps to have two guys for that first time) but I managed to get it rolled up by myself after about 10 minutes--2 of my hunting partners had it done in no time when we set up camp. Again the spark arrestor can use some help, but when I get time to talk to the owner I think it will be a non-issue, I did get it in place upon initial set up, but I got ticked off at it in camp and we put it in the top, which isn't the greatest, but it worked----chris

That is an interesting tent. The problem I've had with a similar tent from Cabela's was that it didn't breath and you woke up wet inside. How is this tent for ventalation? "There are worse memorials to a life well-lived than a pair of elephant tusks." Robert Ruark

the tent has a small zippered part (30" or so) that has a rain cover over it, that is low opposite the door and then you can unzip the door from the top and insert a spreader at the top (spreader comes with tent)(there's 3 zippers at the door)---this does a great job of combating condensation(almost nil) but if you leave everything zipped up you will get condensation, but you're going to get that with any single layer tent that's zipped up tight--- what we found out---with lower vent open and door unzipped 12" or so with no spreader condensation was almost nil--- tent zipped up tight = condensation--didn't drip on us unless someone jostled the tent with some force----not that it matters or that I need to say it (but I will say it); it condensates during rain or no rain when zipped up tight---but again no dripping (even in the rain and it rained pretty hard one night) what I don't know---if low vent is unzipped and door is zipped up how well does it combat condensation with or without rain(this will have to be determined during its next use).......chris
