Since they are moving production back to Wyoming, I wonder if they are going to go back to the unlimited warranty? I have a set of Brunton Epoch's and they are clearer than the Swarovski SLC but not quite as clear as the EL's. Haven't tried the new Swarovision binos yet. When a friend of mine sent his Brunton Epoch's in for service, they told him that they would honor the warranty but only one time. That for me is a detractor. What if you have another problem with them?

I had a pair of their binoculars and they needed repair work. I emailed Brunton and they said they didn't make that model anymore and not to even send them in. Now that's what I call a great warranty and great customer service. No more Brunton products for me.

I think that like many USA manufacturing company's they outsource their components. Lenses prism's, body mouldings etc Some as straight components, some as sub assemblies. It the old tale of give it a wipe over, stick a lable or 2 on it and then stick it in a box and you can call it MADE IN USA.
