I have weak ankles. The boots I use have pretty good ankle support, but not quite as good as I would like. I dont want to end up with a badly sprained ankle somewhere on the top of a mountain someplace)

Looked at Cabelas and couldn't seem to find anything. Are there any really good ankle supports available for purchase somewhere?

Just got back from a hunt up in the mountians. Where I was there was a bit of scree and a lot of slick moss/wet vegitation. I did the same hunt last year with normal hunting boots with some ankle twisting problems. This year, I used LaSportiva Nepal EVO GTX. GREAT boots!! Heaps of ankle support. So much so that if i sat and glassed for an extended period of time I had to losen up the top laces!! A bit pricey but if you are going to spend the cash, do it on boots.

Good luck.
