Ha anyone tried these boots for rugged terrain? I am very difficult to fit in standard sized boots. I don't mind paying for customs if they are top quality. Thanks for your help.

I've got a pair of Nick's packers. They are worth every penny as a cowboy work boot, but I wouldn't recommend them for sheep hunting in rugged terrain. About 12 years ago I bought a pair of Koflach Hunters for hunting sheep and anything else in rugged country. These I recommend highly for that purpose, and they are narrow enough to get a foot in a normal sized stirrup.

I have had a pair for 3years good boots,I had to get a different size than I normaly wear but once I got a pair that fit they were fine.I had the lacing hooks removed as they were scratching the stirrup fenders on my saddle w/regards
