Most of my clients ask me what type of clothing should i bring ,what you think is the best,ok this is my opinon and please bg marks dont kill me for this. After testing a lot of commercial equipment i return to my first love MILITARY MILSPEC EQUIPMENT USA DESIGNED.If you hunt day after day most of the times wet only ripstop, miltary is suitable and you have camo paterns and design for ever terrain and climate.Forget kaki its elegant but its always dirty after a bit of use ..Juan www.huntinginargentina.com.ar FULL PROFESSIONAL MEMBER OF IPHA INTERNATIONAL PROFESSIONAL HUNTERS ASOCIATION . Como estas Juan! If money is not a concern than go Sitka Gear. Anything synthetic is a good choice. I like thin fleece myself unless it is real warm. My go to is stretch fleece by Whitewater. Good Shoot'n!

I use surplus clothing a lot. Rip stop rain pants have lasted me about 7 yrs of hard, rough use and they are still going strong. I also like the "cargo" pants with lots of pockets. I have a military surplus cold weather tent with wood/multi fuel stove. I use a chemical suit as scent proof clothing and it cost me 15 bucks compared to hundreds for the others. There seems to be better civilian equipment than there was 20 yrs ago and I think lots of it beats surplus stuff...but you can't beat the price of surplus. the chef

For the underwear and insulation I use only Patagonia Capilene/Wool and Fleece. The only thing I have tried a couple of times yet was an Icebreaker Shirt, which is lovely too... On the outer shell, I agree with military clothing...

Yes of course im speaking about the realation between price and quality, but indeed after using a lot of trusers and shirts ,of diferent marks like Columbia,Cabelas,Browning, etc i concluded that they are not suitable for daily hunting ,and if you guide in a swamp area they wil not last. You must use ripstop BDUS of course Kifaru ,blackhawk industries offered excelent equipment too but...at another price .Juan www.huntinginargentina.com.ar FULL PROFESSIONAL MEMBER OF IPHA INTERNATIONAL PROFESSIONAL HUNTERS ASOCIATION .
