Well I know a yurt isn't for back packing but I thought this would be the best place to post. Anyway I saw buddies yurt last weekend and it's a beauty. I wanna make one this winter (after hunting season) the canvas is sure pricey. It's around 22 bucks a yard for 12 oz preshrunk, fireproofed and waterproofed. does anyone know a place to get smoking deals?

thanks

Hey Chef:
Last place I got canvas was from Norseman, the tent people, but I can't remember the price. Fanny's fabric also carries the stuff. Will you be getting a Yak to go with your Yurt? Big Grin

And a mare so he can drink the milk! ;-)

Wonder how that would go with all those pigeons that scruffy still has in his freezer?

Scruf', count me in for another go at those flying rats, this fall, if you'll have me!!
