During archery season out west it can get seriously hot. A relative of mine mentioned a hat she used for triathlons. I just got one in camo and tried it out on a 5 mile hike and it worked great...coolmax fabric. I normally don't plug stuff, but this worked for me. Place is called Headsweats.
