Looks like a good frame but it says $164.83 when I bring it up. Tell you what tho, cruise on over to the nearest REI and tell them you want to use this frame to carry elk quarters on. Let me know what they say--you know , before they throw you out of the store.

I used to shop REI a lot, but I got one snotty look too many from the yuppie staff and clientle. Even if I have to spend more I'll spend it somewhere hunter friendly.

Guess it depends on where your REI is, I've talked to the guys at our local one about moose hunting, and gotten some good info from them.
