You might try EJH Holsters, you can find them on Gunbroker, just search for BFR holster. I've bought 3 for regular length guns, my 475 BFR, 45 Ruger Blackhawk and 5.5" Stainless 357 Bisley. I've got some pics of them someplace, I'll see if I can find them.


The top holster is the EJH cross draw with a 6.5" BFR in 475
The bottom one is the regular(strong side) with a 5.5" Bisley in 357.
I'm pretty sure that they make a holster for the BFR Maxine (45-70).

Here are both nylon and leather. I have a leather one for my 10 in 45-70 BFR and it works great.

HEE, HEE, can you imagine a quick draw with that monster??? Slowest on earth, about 5 minutes! jumping

That's why mine has the 3" drop from belt and is severely V-d out in front. It's not as bad as you might think but it's no S&W quickdraw rig either.
