Have any of you used the 330-GR SUPER-HARD-CAST LONG-HAMMERHEAD AT 1385-FPS from garret a friend of mine wants me to order with him and split the cost.my concern is the 40.000 psi cahamber pressure the site has this warning THIS 44 MAGNUM AMMO IS RECOMMENDED FOR USE ONLY IN RUGER REDHAWKS AND SUPER REDHAWKS.I own a ruger redhawk and don't want to harm my gun or me.I imagine it is safe or they wouldn't sell it.Can anybody tell me anything from experience.Thnx

I would take the warning seriously and not shoot them in guns other than the ones recommended but you should be fine given that you follow the directions. The Red & Super Red are very strong guns. I have not fired the 330's because I don't own a redhawk anymore but I've used the 310's in my Super Blackhawk and they deliver pretty impressive penetration. I'm getting 1375fps with the 310's out of a 7.5" bbl. I THINK the 330's are longer and will not chamber in many guns and are designed to take advantage of the Redhawks longer cylinder. The 310's had very consistent velocity and were plenty accurate for big game at 100 yards. The Federal Cast Core 300's will do about 1275fps and are a bit more accurate in my guns.
