I haven't shot the HS2000, but have been using a .40 G23 since '91. It has been trouble free, reliable and accurate. Glocks are ugly, but also reliable, accurate, and easy to maintain.

If you like the feel of the ole 1911, the HS will be more to your like'n, the Glock is closer to the Luger grip, Glock has a long track record, and in 9mm has been running with out problems, once you get into the 40,45 area there have been several problems due to the larger chamber in them then other pistols,Glock does use metal inserts in both the front and back rails on the frame, where the HS uses them in only the front section, both require as much care as any auto, they are just easier to carry and shoot well with then most others

I have two glocks(21,36) can tear the bullseye out of the target at 20ft(self defense ranges) and i have never had a single jam in either gun for over 3,000 rounds through each gun. I love glocks for their combat accuracy and reliability. if I had to bet my life on a gun it would be a glock, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
