Started toting my 10".22lr contender last week.The only chucks I've seen since is at 70 mph on the highway [Mad] Still have a lot of time for hunting coming up though [Big Grin]

Nice groundhog pics. The @#*@ coyotes have about wiped out my chucks I rarely get to even see one. I hunt other varmints though below is the link to my pics-

I killed 2 rock chucks last week and I dont know how many gophers w/my 22 ciener conversion on a Colt series 70 1911.w/regards

I am still waiting to see pics of the 444erd chucks. They ought to be somethin.
What load and bullet are you using in that 444, what veloctiy are you getting?

Rem cases
WLR primer

I have yet to chrono em, hope to this weekend.

Well, saturday, the sporting clays "round" went way over time budget (LOL!) and sunday had family to deal with. DAMN, i hate when i dont get to shoot me pistols on the weekend.... [Frown]

That 444 with a 240gr. should be somewhere in the neibourhood of 2200 or so. It has been a long time though and I could be mis-remembering. Isn't the attitude of our wonderful Canuckistan govt. priceless? derF
