Anybody hunt with an XP 100. Mine is scoped and I like to walk/stalk. Looking for good ideas on how to holster it so my hands are free to . . .

I have 4 Savage Strikers, which are about the same size as an XP-100. I usually carry them on a sling, with one swivel on the forearm and the other swivel under the bottom of the grip. I also carry my Encore pistol the same way.

I have used slings on my Super Striker and XP-100's also, mounted the same way as nashcat's. However, I also have carried them in a Ballistic nylon pistol case, with a strap sewn to it, so it can be worn bandoleer style across the chest, case under my left arm. This offers excellent protection in inclement weather. Make sure the case has a quiet zipper. The strap should be sewn at the muzzle end of the case to the side that will be next to the body, and at the grip end of the case to the side away from the body, for best results. I never use slings on Contenders or Encores, and always carry them in such a case, except when they're in my hand.

I ordered it tonight. Can't wait to get it up and running. Should be ideal medicine for a red stag in Argentina this spring.
