I used to see a "Keith No. 5" type pistol listed on Ruger's website. Now I can't find it; did they really drop it? sputster

I think so. I believe Gary Reeder and Dave Clements make a copy of the #5. Sean

Of course there was Bill Grover's version as well,

Go to Hamiton Bowen's website. He probably knows more about the Number 5 than anyone else and makes a very good copy of it for about $15k If ignorance is bliss; there are some blissful sonofaguns around here. We know who you are, so no reason to point yourselves out.

Perhaps you are describing the Bisley Blackhawk? http://www.ruger-firearms.com/Firearms/FAProdResults?function=famid&famid=11 The Bisley Vaquero is no longer listed though. Time to go shopping! FWIW IIRC Bill Grover's frames were cast for him by Ruger.

A 416 Rigby it is. That fat case holds the sixgun at just the right angle
