Searching for bullets that would work around the 2000fps range. Most .338 bullets are made for higher velocities, so wondering what you .338 pistol shooters have had great luck with? Thanks for any info! Dennis

Hey trouble! You know who I am. What are you wanting to do with them? I know you don't get out to hunt so are you just punching paper and wanting accuracy? Do you want target or game performance?

Is this a new JDJ barrel?

Hornady made a run of 220(?)gr. FP bullets for the 33 Winchester round several years ago. I've seen these bullets up for sale from time to time. You also might want to check out Midway and search for Alaska Bullets. There're on closeout, but last time I looked there were 338 bonded handgun bullets available.

Hornady still lists the 338 - 200 FP on their website. Item # 3315. That's the old 33 Winchester bullet. It's been a while since I've bought any so I don't know the availability at gun shops.
