Just got my 454 Casull SRH back today and put a bunch of ammo through it. WOW!! What a difference. I don't know why I waited so long! Over time, I think I will be sending them several more revolvers to do.

I'm very pleased with the end result.

My FA 454 is magnaported as is both of my Reeder custom built single action 500 S&W revolvers. My two 500 S&W's have the 5- port version. I would not have it any other way.

What bullet weight and velocity?

I have used magna-porting now for over 25 years on my hard recoiling firearms and I'm very well pleased with the recoil reduction along with the modest increase in decibel level, no where near as loud as a muzzle break and I don't get that huge dust cloud if shooting prone. I have magna-porting on a .44 mag, 2 .41 mags, 300, .338, 375, and 458 mags. tu2

velocity is like a new car, always losing value.
BC is like diamonds, holding value forever.

I shot some handloaded 300gr LFNGC at about 1400fps as well as some CorBon 320/1550fps and Buffalo Bore 360/1425fps and Hornady 240/1900fps.

Again, VERY happy with it!!
