I am just wondering if anyone has any inside scoop on any single action Rugers in Bisley/Super Blackhawk??? How hard would it be for the factory to create such a handgun??

it would need to be on a 5 shot cyl and they say at this time the demand wouldnt justify tooling up for it. I think there wrong if they would chamber the .454 480 .475 and .500 on a new 5 shot frame I think they would sell like hotcakes. A new .500 for under $500 who wouldnt have one. But then again I already have a .500 and .475 and half the fun of owning them is the peoples reaction at the range if everyone had them Id lose that.

Since the 'custom' market is, and has been, doing this for some time, it would seem to be a natural.

Let Ruger know what you want. Their marketing directors name is Syl Wiley. I don't have a email for him but his addy is:

200 Ruger Road
Prescott, AZ 86301-6181

I also would like to see Ruger introduce a larger blackhawk frame as a vehicle for the .475 and .500 caliber revolvers.

Didn't some one in the HHI Sixgunner publication (I think it was John Taffin) say before, the 480 hit the market, that Ruger was working on a new bigger prototype frame. It wasn't a Blackhawk and wasn't a Bisley but a new frame a combination of grip style? I could be wrong or crazy. (Lord knows I have been before.) I couldn't find the old issue. If any one remembers maybe we have something to ask Ruger about
