Anyone give these a whirl yet? I was looking at them for a 454 Casull - 260 grain bullet at 1800+ fps at the muzzle. If the accuracy is even close to that described in this article, looks like a great new hunting load: http://www.handgunhunt.com/pro...ewArticle.php?oid=40 SCI Life Member DSC Life Member

Should work well on thin-skinned game like deer, but I'm not a real fan of expanding bullets in big-bore revolvers. That said, I have heard some good things about that load. I have not tried this load, but had jacket core separation on a Freedom Arms 260 grain bullet; and those are not supposed to do that. You are better off with a cast bullet on the big bore revolvers when hunting larger/ dangerous game. If ignorance is bliss; there are some blissful sonofaguns around here. We know who you are, so no reason to point yourselves out.
