How is this factory ammo anyone with any experience with the DT ammo

Whitworth and I have both tested the Doubletap ammo. Marko had tipped me off on it via this board and I went ahead and ordered some of the 400grainers for the 454 Casull.



The ammunition shot extremely well out of my 7.5" ruger, and from the bullet composition as well as what Whitworth has experienced while hunting, I can say that this bullet will go in and come out on most game you are likely to hunt with such a pistol!

I've used their 235gr Tripleshock offering in 375 H&H. Very accurate, high quality ammo at an affordable price! Also a very easy company to deal with. Orders ship quickly with absolutely no hassels, which is more than I can say for some custom/specialty ammo makers that I have dealt with.

Tanoose, I've used Double Tap's 360 and 400 grain Casull loads, their 320 grain .44 mag loads, and both their 300 and 250 grain .338 win mag loads (I really like the .338 win mag offerings!). All of this ammo has served me really well and it is priced very reasonably. Mike (the proprietor) is a real ethusiast and he takes pride in his load development. The 360 grain Casull ammo actually shoots more accurately in my .454 than the 400 grain loads do, but I wanted to see how they perform on game and I wasn't in the least bit disappointed!
