I recently aquired a S&W model 25-9 and have been unable to get much info reguarding.I'm considering using it for deer ,Any input would be appreciated. Thanks | ||

.45 Colt is most adequate for deer with the proper bullet and without loading very heavy. A brief search indicates not many of this model were made. It should work fine.I recommend against trying to load it as heavy as what a Ruger could take. If ignorance is bliss; there are some blissful sonofaguns around here. Your 25-9 was made in 1990. It is basically the same as the earlier 25-5 but incorporates a few minor engineering changes that S&W was using on the N frame by that time. | |||
