700 Nitro, The Ruger Bisley in 22 cal is a nice piece, I ordered one a time back, and it was covered in rust, right from the warehouse, a second one came the same way, so I ordered a Buckmark Gold Target, which I'm very satisfied with, goes great with my S&W model 41, Jay

700 Nitro, This was about 31/2 yrs. ago, maybe Ruger started to put some perservative on them to prevent the rust. They should look into getting some Militec metal conditioner, The Best, I still might get one in the near future, I'm partial to 22s, and the Bisley models Jay

I've used a Ruger Convertible 6 stainless for about 30 years. Its served well with accuracy and no problems including several years on a salt water boat. Just one opinion, but if you like revolvers, its a good one. For auto's,a ruger Target model with a short bull barrel works well for the price. My brother has had one for about the last 20years. Of course a S&W 41 is hard to beat if you can find one.
700, I think the Ruger Mark II slabside is the finest small game hunting handgun. Mine loves CCI blue tag mini mag hollow points and I get all the squirrels I can eat with it. This is one I will never, ever part with.
