I have managed take this gazelle on my first day with my first handgun. It's Ruger MK III and it took only one shot.

VERY NICE!

Everyone knows it's impossible to take something of that size with anything less than about a 300 Win. Mag.

The importance of shot placement is hard to get across to some people.

Cool I know of several whitetails having been killed with 22 pistols.

I'm curious what .22 ammo did you use, and what was the range?

Like 700 nitro said "no frikin trees" and from the photo it looks very flat how do you close in on the gazelles to handgun range?

Very nice job.

No way of getting close within handgun distance. I waited in ambush, the guys on the other side pushed the herd towards me. I singled out this male and shot him about 40 yards. They were running but not that fast. I used Aguila Super Extra 40 gr solid.
