It's a toasty -2 here in Mid-Michigan. I used to snowmobile through Munising and now deer hunt over in Gwinn-beautiful country man! thumb

Oh yeah, congratulations on your new toys.

My father-in-law and I camp at Little Lake Campground about 5 miles south of town. We normally hunt on state land down a seasonal road that follows the Escanaba River and a power line (can't recall the street names). Anyway, I love the town and made a lot of new friends at the Gwinn Inn a few years back during the Michigan/Ohio State game-even got invited back for whitefish livers. clap

I lived about a 1/2 mile up the road from that campground when i first got out of the service. My sister is now building a house on little lake, just down past the campground on the same road. I could tell you many storys about the gwinn inn!!!! I live about 45 miles away now in Munising. I acutally like it better then the gwinn area but the hunting alothough its been poor everywhere for a few years is better in the gwinn area then in munising.

In recent years we have hunted some state land near Trenary and saw quite a bit more deer activity.
