I have been using the Federal match 250 FPJ in my SW 44 mag. for many years now for black bear with excellent results, I never here about anyone using this bullet to hunt with Sierra 250 FPJ. Had a friend atopped a grizzly with one shot with this bullet in his pistol. Super accurate factory load in my SW 629 5" V-Comp.

I haver used this bullet on hogs with great success. The little dimple of lead provides expansion on hard targets like a boar's gristle plate or bones, yet the bullet holds together for great penetration. I also use the 220 gr FPJ bullet in a .41 mag and they make one for the .45 ACP, too. Terminal performance on large, sturdy game is terrific.
