I went on a pawn shop tour yesterday. I found a blue four inch barreled Smith and Wesson 41 Mag.It looked to be in really good shape, had not been fired a lot. The action was tight and the trigger both single action and double action was very good. Is it worth $575.00 plus background check and taxes? I would think $500 would be enough but prices seem to be going up. What do you think??

I'd buy it in a heartbeat....if condition is as you describe, then you can't get hurt.

Just remember it is a 41 Mag not a 44 Mag beer

I'd go for it in a heart beat. I love the 4" S&W 41's

+1
I'd even rather have it if it is pinned and recessed and with a S prefix serial number. Just personal preference. But I like 'em all.

I think it's a good deal. I would jump on it.

Thanks everyone, someone else will get to enjoy it. I am deep into the 44 magnums and had a chance to pick up a used Marlin lever gun in 44 so I chose that instead. Too many guns, not enough time or money. DW
