Harry,

Are Uncle Mikes grips are smaller than Hogue, RSG2 asked for smaller grips? As far as I know, Hogue are open backstrap for shorter trigger reach. Looking Uncle Mikes web site (unfortunately, just single picture of S&W L-frame for all revolvers) it shows grip enclosing backstrap, so the trigger reach is probably longer. Trying to make a deal for one 44 Redhawk, and I will be in same situation like RSG2, looking for smaller grips. Thanks, Onty.

Hey Onty,
I just bought the Butler Creek grips from natchez. They seemed to be better for my hands except the placement of my pinky finger,it takes a little to get used to because your pinky is rubbed up against your ring finger. It doesn't take long to get used to though and you can reach the trigger better than the hogue grips. All that said, i wish my hands were slightly bigger 'cause the hogue are more comfortable .Natchez has them (butler creek)for$14.83 + shipping you might want to order a few things because shipping is kinda high. One more thing ,i don't think Uncle Mike's makes grips for the redhawk i think just Butler Creek does, i wasn't able to find uncle mike's for the redhawk.

I have a Redhawk .45 Colt. I plan to add a Tyler T Grip (about 20 bucks). I tried the Hogues and they were much too big for me. I figure the filler with the originals should do well.
