Galco SAO. I haave one for my FA M97 and love it. They work strong side or crossdraw. Adjuster screw allows you to select the tension that you want. The link shows a 7.5 but they make 4.75 and 5.5. http://www.opticsplanet.net/ga...my-7-1-2-sao148.html

I prefer a shoulder holster that's as versatile as possible. It's a lot easier to climb in and out and sit in deer stands with those than hip holsters. I carry my SBH, Smith N frames and Auto Mags all in a Bianchi X-15 Large. But, my SBH has a longer barrel than yours. So you may want a shorter holster. You could call and ask them about it. They're very helpful and their number is on their e-site. I have two different length safety straps for it that go thru the trigger guard. One goes with the SBH and another for other guns.

I think you should check out Mernickle holsters. They are very well made and can customize if needed. I was headed to Alaska Sept 2008 for a Grizzly hunt and intended to pack my Ruger BH 4-5/8" in 45 Colt as backup. I made the mistake of ordering the holster "then" sending the handgun off to get a taller front sight. I was loading/shooting the LBT 335 gr WFN and needed a taller front sight. Gun came back. Holster arrived and the taller front sight would not fit in the holster. I called Mernickle in a panic, explaining that I was flying out in less than two weeks. They said to simply send the holster back to them and they would start on a new one immediately. The new one arrived in less than one week and it fits great. I also had them cut the down the area over the top strap to accomodate a Trijicon RedDot sight/mount. I love it. Mine is the Field Carry II. I carried it crossdraw and "LOVED" it. Many times I forgot the gun was even there. I used a Wilderness Instructors belt. Also, the 6-round ammo slide is made my Mernickle too. http://www.mernickleholsters.com/fc/fc2.html Here are some pics of mine.

GSSP, Thanks. I've looked at their site. I'm thinking more on that line for one gun and a Galco or Simply Rugged for the other. Hey, maybe something for my little 629 3" Magnaport Custom too. Thanks guys. " If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms.
