Whitworth, do you shoot a lot of 480 Ruger loads in your 475 Linebaugh?

I got a bunch of load data off the Hodgdon site for the 480 Ruger, but I don't see a lot of data for 400 gr. hard cast bullets. I am going to use the data for the Hornady XTP's though.
Seems like a good place to start.

Redhawk, I do not. I am the type of person that does most of his experimentation when initially developing loads (not that I won't experiment later), and when I find that load -- you know, the one that will consistently shoot accuarately, I stick with it -- despite the fact that it kicks like hell.

Yea, that would be nice, I am sure we all could learn a great deal from one another in person.

I know what you mean, every time I find a great load, it usually is a heavy kicker...lol
