Folks I keep reading that I should put a rifle basix trigger into my new Striker (516BSAK 260 REM) But when I check out the Rifle Basic web site and nothing is listed for the Striker (Non Rimfire) and the only part listed for the striker form Midway is the adjustable sear assembly. Which looks to be the same part you show as SAV-3. So when everyone is saying to replace the trigger with a Rifle Basic trigger is the adjustable sear what are they talking about? Part Number?

This may be of no help at all but how about contacting Savage and asking if their Acutrigger could be installed in your Striker? They might eventually bring it out as a factory offering if enough people asked for it...Rusty.

The acurtrigger can't be installed on a Savage that didnt come with it. I would just buy the Basix trigger from Brownells. My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

That is what I would love to do but Basix does not list a trigger for the striker. They do have a sear from Basix listed on the Midway site but no trigger???

Brownells sells the SAV-3 for the Striker and is a drop in for about $90 shipped. It is adjustable. My neighbor has one in his Striker 243. Here is the link to the Trigger-- Basix trigger for Striker You don't quit playing because you get old, you get old when you quit playing.

McClura Thanks that looks like the one what I need. I had found a reference to the SAV-3 somewhere but could get no good application data. And it is not shown on the Rifle Basix site.
