Best case scenario, remove the screws holding it on <GRIN>, or slide the scope back enough for it to clear, or go to higher rings. Worst case scenario, take it to someone to have the sight removed (soldered on sight). Sorry I can't be of more help, but that's about it for options. Only other thing that I can think of, is to send it back to Ruger, and request to have a screw-on front sight installed. It would take some time, but they might do it for free. There isn't a screw as far as I know. You'll see a hole in the front of the front sight base. There is a spring loaded retaining button in that hole. Take a punch or other small object and push the button in while lifting up on the front sight. This usually takes quite a bit of effort in depressing the retaining pin. | |||
