I've just cooked up a top-notch 41 mag load in my Bisley hunter. Federal cases, 300 primers, Remington (yes, Remington) 210 JSP over 22 gr of IMR4227. Shot 2, 6-shot groups today - both were about 2.5" at 100 yds. Prints 3/4" groups at 30 yds with amazing regularity. Anyway, give it a try if you're looking for a load. This charge appears to be about 1.5-2gr over max I see in some manuals, but I've got no pressure signs. Empties fall out, primers look fine, tight primer pockets over repeated reloads, etc. IMR4227 isn't the cleanest powder, but I've got no complaints about the results. Anyway...
