A couple of post a go I said was looking for a source for 45 225/230 swc bullets. Well i found them,sort of. The web site is Colorado Cast Bullets located at the Saniuan shooting range
in Montrose Co. Looking at the web I see it is for sale. It looks like it;s a going opertion, but have tried several times too contact them by e mail. I haven't tried the land line yet,
Just want to find out if any one knows if this place is still in business. any body had dealings with them. Thanks

Take a look at this bullet from an H&G mould. I have the same mould in eight cavity, and like all of them, it is phenomenally consistent between cavities. It is 215 grains nominal, and is designed for the .45 ACP, but I believe it would work very well for you in the Colt, assuming you crimp either over the forward driving band or use a taper crimp somewhere on the forward driving band...
