Been an interesting hunting season thus far.We have two younger fellows,15,who have taken deer, one being a nice 9 pointer,by eastern standards that weighed 190lbs.We have two brand new hunters that joined the ranks this year one 15,and our only girl age 10,and after today they both have taken deer.So I slipped off and was lucky enough to take this cull buck yesterday afternoon. My new custom 475L barked and it was done.I had to go help find the young ladies deer so it postponed me retrieving my buck, hence the headlight photo. The load was 412gr cast from Hunters Supply over 15grs of HS-6.

15 grains of HS-6 is an accurate midrange load in my gun as well.

Cotton - nice work! Looks as if you're starting the season well, and sounds as if you've gotten a bunch of new recruits on board too!
