You've obviously never shot a 475 linebaugh! The 475 produces special levels of recoil, and the blackhawk grip is insufficient to allow one to control and deal with those levels of recoil. I've fired several bisley and freedom 475's, as well as bisley 500's, and a blackhawk 500. Trust me, there is a good reason the bisley grip is used.

That said, you just might want to get a SRH 480, I absolutely adore mine, amazingly accurate, plenty powerful, and it doesn't beat you up. My best wheelgun group was with my 480, 5 shots in 1" at 25 yds, and with a max load, 19.0 gr H110, NEI 435 gr @ 1100 fps.

My shooting buddy has gone through over 20 FA 454's, a few 475's, 5 500 Linebaughs, and his bone stock 480 SRH is his favorite. Sure, you can spend 3 times as much on a custom 475, but it won't be more accurate, and there are darn few times you'll hunt anything that requires more power, and if you want, you can load cast bullets long, and have the same powder capacity as a 475 linebaugh.
