Found it in a box of auction junque that I've had for years.. always wondered if it could be made to work in one of my 45 Colt Blackhawks.. one time tried it in a 4&5/8" New Model.. too long. had a little time today, and tried it in a 45Colt Bisley NMBlackhawk , and it slips right in.. about the same amount of end shake..rotates into battery, locks up tight..one out of six positions is a little sticky going over.. guess I'll try it with some ammo.. what say you experts?

IF I was going to shoot it without having a revolversmith look at it it would be with round nosed bullets and light loads. If there was no evidence of lead shaving, then I would test it with gradually warmer loads, including SWC bullets like the 200gr H&G 68, and then jacketed bullets. DOUBLE RIFLE SHOOTERS SOCIETY

N E 450No 2: I compared the lock up with the original cyl. looked down the barrel with a bright light and observed how each cyl. locked up, both the same.. thru a can out in the yard and ruined it.. good to go I believe.. thanks Les

Les, excellent. A 45 ACP cylinder is a very good accessory for a 45 Colt or a 454 revolver. DOUBLE RIFLE SHOOTERS SOCIETY

Sounds like fun. But then I have a 22 mag cly for my single six. I haven't shot any thing thru it in decades. I just like haveing more guns then extra barrels and clys.

For the heck of it, I took the .22 mag cylinder from my 1981 vintage Single Six and tried it in my 2012 Single 10.....it works perfectly. DRSS
