Friday I got my brand new SRH in 454, a 7½" barrel. I'v been looking for a holster and a speedloader for it without success. Do you have any ideas where I should look? Are there any cheap holsters thats suitable? Thomas ...450 Rigby...

Thomas, If you have any gunsmiths that aren't too expenstive, I'd highly consider having your SRH modified to use full moon clips. Moon clips are faster than a speed loader, and you can have several cylinders full of ammo at hand. As far as holters, uncle mikes makes some fairly reasonably priced ones. __________________________________________________ The AR series of rounds, ridding the world of 7mm rem mags, one gun at a time.

The HKS 25-5 works great. I use an Unkle Mike's generic revolver holster. It's cheap and works well. As Paul H said, having the cylinder cut for moon clips is a great idea.

There is no pistol smith close to here so I will try the HKS 25-5. Thanks! Thomas ...450 Rigby...

I did the same thing for a holster as robotek, I got the Uncle Mike's generic unit and it fits fine. No complaints. "Ignorance you can correct, you can't fix stupid." I got my holster for my SRH from a leather shop that specializes in gunleather down in Florala, AL. I can try to find their number and get it to you. They do all custom work based on the measurements you send them. Mine's an off the shoulder cross-body rig for my .44, and it's functional and comfortable to carry. ====================================== Cleachdadh mi fo m' féileadh dé tha an m' osan.
