I have a S&W model 28 6" barrel. I am looking for a set of grips and a nice looking and comfortable shoulder holster. I want leather and I want a good looking one. Thanks. Ron

Check out El Paso Saddlery. They offer a few different shoulder holsters. I use their Tanker model and am very happy with it.

Check out Mernickle Holsters. I have several different models with a new one for my 4.25" barreled shortened 454 Casull SRH and speed loader belt holder on the way right now. Check out his shoulder holsters as well. http://www.mernickleholsters.com/

I just went to the site to check if the link worked and looked at the SH7 & SH7B shoulder holsters. The holster I have on order is a FC13 REF2 which is a cross draw belt holster and you can find it in the Field Carry section in the bottom right hand corner. Mernickle will also do special order changes on many of his holsters eg; he will put the thumb brake of the FC13 REF2 onto the SH7 & SH7B shoulder holsters which is what I am going to order next.

I have a Bianchi sholder holster that I use for all my large revolvers. It is very comfortable and easy to use. The thing I like best about it, is the clam shell spring inside the leather that pinches the gun and holds it in place. I don't even use the trigger gaurd strap anymore. You can stand on your head or do jumping jacks and the gun won't come out. It's also very comfortable with a wide soft leather strap that fits over the left sholder. The one I have is marked for a S&W M29, but it works great for my Blackhawks, 4 5/8 and 7 1/2 Bisley and 7 1/2 357 max, 475 BFR, It even holds my AMT 45 7" longslide. It doesn't hold the 500 S&W though.
