well i have two beutiful 7 1/2 ss redhawks and because of threads with whithworth i picked up a super to have jack huntington convert to a 500 linebaugh i always thaught a redhawk a good platform for this but i just recieved my super redhawk 7 1/2 ss 44 and gotta say not as pretty as the redhawk but feels a little lighter and better balanced just holding it up i can hold on a target a long time before i start shaking.
I guess i totally missed the super redhawk basing on being ugly compared to a redhawk but i can't wait to print it before sending to jack

Glad to hear you like the SRH!! It is a great gun and it will make a great foundation. What are you having Jack build? A .500 Linebaugh? I am absolutely happy with the .475 he built for me on the SRH -- shoots great and is damn accurate! My .500 JRH will be on a Redhawk, just because. I already have a couple of SRHs and just want something a little different.

I have shot both extensively and worked on both. The RH has a bitch of a trigger-mainspring setup. It is also not as accurate as the SRH by a long shot.

I agree that the SRH is superior in it's accuracy and its ease of acquiring a refined, dependable trigger, compared to the RH. Appearance? Well now....but it can be refined.

TBEAR, he's too busy to mess around on the internet!! Just give him a call -- he normally is the one who answers the phone and he's always willing to talk.

TBEAR, I don't know the cost, but he usually wants a piece of it up front (maybe half) and then the remainder is due upon completeion. What I do is send him a spare $100.00 or more every month and by the time it's finished you owe little or nothing and you don't really feel the impact of the cost........
