Seemingly one must order this revolver from the factory because Magnum Research failed to get it in their catalogue or to any dealers.....or something like that. Anyway, what's the cost of ordering one directly from the factory? I tried emailing them a while back but didn't get a response.

Thanks,

Landrum

That's because it's a new item. What's wrong with ordering directly from the factory? I would call them.

It's been known that they were going to offer the JRH in the BFR for well over a year. I don't know, it just seems strange that one has to buy factory direct. No biggie.

I am curious if they would charge what they do for a run of the mill BFR or would performance center pricing be applicable?

Yes, I could call but I thought that one of the Magnum Research gurus would know the answer.

It's a production item so the Precision Center prices don't apply. It became available right around February of this year (it was available from the Precision Center well before this), and I know they are stepping up their promotion of this caliber soon. bfrshooter got his a couple of months ago and he ordered it directly from Magnum Research.

I bought a 50 AE on Gunbroker for around $650 and then sent it back to them for the work. The new cylinder is $190, plus shipping both ways. If you buy direct I think they charge full retail of around $1000ish.

And that is another issue. Full retail. It would be nice to get it from a distributor for what the guns usually fetch on the market instead of getting reamed.
