Just got done reading an interview with the new Smith & Wesson president Robert L. Scott in Shooting Times magazine. He is the one that replaced Ed Shultz when Saf-T-Hammer bought S&W and he got the boot. The two agreements that Shultz made with the enemy have been made null and void. The Bush administration has said that the agreement with HUD was uninforcable and the Boston courts, at the request of the city of Boston, has "vacated the consent decree". Meaning the agreement with them is null & void. Read the article if you get the chance, it explains alot more. I don't know how much that deal with the devil upset everyone else but for me it means I can get my old Mod 57 fixed and support Smith & Wesson again. Read the Article! Slim

Yes, Slim, I posted the same thing a couple of months ago. So while it's GOOD news...it really isn't news. (If that makes sense.) [Big Grin]

I think everyone is glad to have them back on line. Good hunting. [Smile]

Ber, not sure now which forum I posted my notice about S&W on. At any rate, it does no harm to get the word out again. I'm for it. [Smile] Good luck Smith and may the dark force never rule them again.
