You lost me here, the 500 Wyoming Express is a Freedom Arms chambering, not a Casull...

I just figured since Casull invented the revolver they would all be called Casull,s even tho other manufactures make firearms in the 454 Casull caliber ...//
To me a Casull is the revolver whether a 22 RF or 500 Wyoming Express ...
The 454,is its own round lots of 500,s a few 475,s bunch of 45,s , 44,s ect .. but only 1 454 , salute

Call it what you want, but Casull to me is the 454 Casull.

Do a web search of "Casull" and it will take you to the 454 Casull and Dick Casull.

Redhawk is correct. Casull refers to a cartridge; whether it is chambered in a Freedom Arms, Super Redhawk, or any other firearm.

Ken's got some experience with these and I'm sure can answer your questions.

As a side note, Dick Casull started Casull Arms since he left Freedom and is purportedly going to produce his own revolvers soon........ I hope no one jumps on me for not answering the question........ shocker

... This sounds interesting ....I can duplicate those ballistics with the 454 . but according to the Hodgdon web site it will push a 400 gr cast @ 1550 fps. plus ..... ., but if it worked with those loads it sounds great .....
