First I have to say that I am worst than alot of women I know , about changing my mind . Now that I have said that let me tell you what's going on. For months I have been beating myself up on what caliber handgun I want . First I wanted a 460 S&W then 45LC then mybe a 480 Ruger and the list goe's on. But not after today. With the help of 475/480 who out of the goodness of his heart let me shoot all of the caibers in question and one that I have never heard of a 475 Max. The list went somthing like this 480 Ruger , 475 Linebaugh , 500 Linebaugh ,500 S&W and the 475 Max. I shot them till I was beside myself what great guns. I really liked the 500 Linebaugh . But I think I am going with the 475 Linebaugh there I said it can't go back now. Really this whole story was to tell you'al That 475/480 is a great guy and I enjoyed meeting him and I hope I get to shoot with him again. dancing

Sounds like, through the kindness of 475/480, you had the perfect opportunity to choose and I believe you chose the right one. I really like my 475.

Dan, I'm partial to Jack Huntington. He did the 5-shot conversion to .475 Linebaugh of my Ruger Super Redhawk. He is one of the few gunsmiths out there that actually builds his own cylinders. Jack can be reached at: 530/268-6877 -- give him a call and just talk to him -- can't hurt.

Thanks gents, I'll check with all of them. A couple of the traditional guys I already spoke with don't want to do the max anymore, so I've had to cast my net a bit wider. Thanks again. - dan

If you like the .475...you should talk to NE450 about his 6" Freedom Arms...I don't think he could be more pleased.
