OK as some of you know i have a few redhawks and i have a 41 mag scoped with a luepy. My question is my scope i have trouble acquiring sight through scope quickly sorta have to move gun around a little to get full veiw. The scope is a luepy M8-2x extended E.R.

My question i would like to move up to something like 4x power but needs to have good eye relief for quick acquistion. What scopes should i look at????
I don't want a red dot

This is my only scoped handgun as i prefer the open sights but nice to bring the 41 out once in awhile.

How much have you practiced with your revolver at acquiring a sight picture when you aim?

Practicing acquiring a sight picture with a scope, just like open sights is something one can do when one's least favorite politicians are on tv.

It really does require practice to acquire targets with a handgun scope. I just don't seem to have the patience for it........

Get a Leupold 4X or a Burris 4X, I have both, and find them a little easier, and a little better sight acquisition than the 2X Leupold's I have. Also just take your gun out with the scope on it, and practice bring up the gun and finding your sight picture. I pick out stuff in the field behind my house, and see how fast I can bring up my scoped handgun and find the target. Takes a little getting use to, but you will get the hang of it.

Hi,

I have a new in the box Burris 2-7 handgun scope that was going to go on a gun that I sold before I got the chance to mount it. It has the ballistic plex reticle, hunter knobs, and is matte black. The model number is #200279

I'll take $280 plus shipping for it. I can send pictures but I would rather leave iut in the unopened sealed box.

If you have any questions please contact me at JohnNiemi@charter.net
Thanks, John
