Shooting the Grizzly WFN hard cast out of my FA-83 4 3/4" the bullets were hitting high. I adjusted the rear sight down and promptly aimed at a 12 gauge hull that I had stood up on the ground and low and behold I nailed it on my first shot. Standing unsupported at 25 yards

Five shot group shot standing unsupported at 40 yards

Grizzly claimed velocity of 1175 FPS proved to be a bit conservative

I think it was a little more than just the gun and load going on there...

Carry on.

Great shooting.

Minute-of-hot-water-heater?

Great velocities for such a short barrel.

Recoil is stout?

That really is a fine looking handgun. From your post, it looks to shoot as good as it looks too. DW

John, that .45 load is stout, but not uncomfortable to shoot. I have chronographed that load out of my out-of-the-box Ruger Bisley with a 5 1/2-inch barrel, and they averaged 1,360 fps. Great load!
