Just returned from a visit there. Actually got to meet and talk w/Jack. Has so much that can't fit into a catalog. Was impressed to say the least. Wound up ordering more work and services than originally intended.

In our discussion he mentioned tests he has done on short barrel vs longer barrel magnum revolvers that were eye opening. Like most of the modern ones burn up most of their powder sooner than this rifleman had thot. So, I guess there is a place for huge shorties.

I'm pleased to hear that you had a good visit with Jack! I just got off of the phone with him and he said nice things about you. I just told him about my scope mounts breaking and he laughed! He said it was testimony to the brutality of the .475!! LOL! jumping

Hmm, I may have seen that or at least the cylinder today ~ extended frame right? He was very enthusiatic about it. I found just the thot was intimidating. Keep in mind that I'm a new crossover from rifles.

He did have a BFR frame on a workbench ~ thot it was a regular length frame w/an extended grip frame wearing a nice set of black micarta. Just gotta get me a set.

Our visit did put me thinking about possibly looking into the 50cal stable ~ sigh! so many choices, so little time/money Smiler
